Reid Newlin founded Oxalis Books in 2020. He has authored multiple picture books as well as YA and middle grade series’. Reid’s background in early childhood education and mentorship connects him to the many imaginative worlds in his stories.

Jaicee Nichols-Howell - Illustrator

Kat Black- Designer

Kat is a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator. She has a background in education, which informs both the playfulness and clarity of her work. Kat partners with small projects local to the PNW, and her design work has a hand-crafted, illustrative quality. katblackdesign.com
